Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Beatreel collects, why, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and sign-in details, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Your content: the audio, images, lyrics and character descriptions you upload, and the videos and frames we generate for you.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep a Stripe customer ID and your plan status.
• Usage data: basic logs (pages visited, errors, render times) needed to run and improve the Service.

How we use it

To provide the Service: analyzing your audio, sending prompts and images to AI providers to generate frames, rendering your video, and managing your credits. To support you when you write to us. To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not use Your Content to train AI models.

Who we share it with

Only the providers needed to run the Service: Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), OpenAI and fal.ai (image and text generation — they receive the prompts and, when a character is used, reference images; they do not receive your audio), and Railway (hosting). Each is bound by its own privacy terms.

Retention

Videos on free accounts are deleted after 30 days. Uploads and intermediate frames may be deleted once a video is finished. Account data is kept while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and content at any time.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data by emailing hello@beatreel.app. If you are in the EU/UK you have additional rights under GDPR; we will honor them.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for sign-in and a guest cookie so you can try the Service before creating an account. No advertising trackers.

Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18.
